Young children must be accompanied by an adult.
We use strobe lights, loud noises, fog effects, realistic props, power tools, uneven flooring, tight spaces, and in some cases, no lights at all. It is intended to be frightening. Performers are specifically trained to scare you.
DO NOT ENTER IF YOU SUFFER FROM HEART CONDITIONS, SEIZURES, OR ANY CONDITION THAT CANNOT TOLERATE THESE SPECIAL EFFECTS.
Individuals who are pregnant and/or who suffer from high blood pressure, asthma, light sensitivity, claustrophobia, or any other condition aggravated by these special effects should consider this warning before purchasing admission.
We are not responsible for lost or damaged items in and around the theater, including parking areas.
There are NO REFUNDS after you purchase admission.
Do not smoke, run, eat or drink inside the theater.
No video or flash photography is allowed.
Unruly behavior, destruction of property, hitting performers, or any other unacceptable behavior is grounds for immediate removal. If necessary, we will engage the police. Helen Hocker Theater/Topeka Civic Theatre reserves the right to refuse admission to anyone who appears intoxicated or otherwise impaired.
